Our Vision

Who we are

Mission Statement

”A BISC education is engaging and aims to educate students in lifelong learning so that they become global and culturally empathetic citizens, who are then empowered to make a valuable contribution to society”

Our mission is to inspire our students to become independent and inquiring life-long learners, and self-confident, compassionate human beings, through the enjoyable, multi-cultural and family centred environment of our school.

Our school is focused on nurturing students’ social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

We are committed to excellence and to providing the best possible opportunities for the growth of each student.

Objectives

Our school maintains a focus on the holistic development of our students. We achieve this by utilising the Primary and Lower Secondary Cambridge International Curriculum, and then IGCSE and British International A-Level Programmes of Study. We also offer an alternate senior school programme in place of the British International A-levels, where students can choose to earn a USA High School Diploma.

We Aim celebrate the spirit of inclusivity, In order to achieve this…

  1. We foster mother tongue support, and we work closely with our families to ensure that a provision for mother tongue enrichment is made available.
  2. We embrace holistic education and will ensure a broad and varied academic, sport and cultural offer. This will be accessible through our academic, extra-curricular and sporting programmes.
  3. We are academically non-selective and accept enrolments all year round.
  4. We do not discriminate against past, present and/or future students and will endeavour to provide a safe and supportive school environment. In situations where the learning or physical needs of a student are beyond the provisional scope of the school, we will be transparent in our communication with the family concerned and make recommendations as to more suitable options for their child.
  5. We are proud of the family atmosphere of our school and will maintain this, regardless of the size of the school and plans for future growth.
