On Friday the 11th of December, the Secondary School is going to visit the “Przyjazny Dom” (Friendly House) Foundation, located in Wroclaw in the Psie Pole district, and present our Christmas Concert to the residents of the house. The foundation works with intellectually disabled adults, providing them housing, daily care and opportunities to work. Our students will have a chance to meet the residents and have some insight into the highlights and the challenges of life of the disabled people. As is traditional at the end of the Winter Term, BISC Wrocław will host Christmas Concerts for each phase of the school. More information can be found in the newsletter.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family at these events. Details regarding Primary concerts: The Foundation concert is planned for Monday, December 14th, at 2:30 PM, in the BISC Foundation unit, Lipowa 15. Please deliver all costumes as requested by the Foundation teachers.
Primary concerts for Years 1, 2 and 3 begin on Tuesday, December 15th at 1:30 PM. Following regular lunch, teachers will walk the children to the venue, the concert hall in MDK Krzyki, Powstańców Śląskich 190. The concert will end at about 3 PM and the children will walk back to the school where they will be ready to be picked up at 3:30 PM. All costumes must be delivered to the school prior to the concert as requested by the form teachers. Primary concerts for Years 4, 5 and 6 begin on Wednesday, December 16th at 1:30 PM. Following regular lunch, teachers will walk the children to the venue, the concert hall in MDK Krzyki, Powstańców Śląskich 190. The concert will end at about 3 PM and the children will walk back to the school where they will be ready to be picked up at 3:30 PM. All costumes must be delivered to the school prior to the concert as requested by the form teachers. Out of respect for our performers, and to avoid unnecessary noise, parents and guests are requested to arrive at 1:20 and remain in the hall for the entire duration of the concert. All children perform the opening and closing songs, so they may not be picked up early. To allow everyone to view the performance comfortably, parents intending to film it or take photos are requested to stay close to the sides of the hall and avoid blocking the main aisle. All children must return to the school following the performance. Please do not bring any food to be eaten during the viewing. We do ask the parents to take care of the younger children brought to the concerts. ![]()
