This year our winter camp will start on January 20th (Monday) and finish on January 24th (Friday) 2020. Like last year it will be held in Janske Lazne, Cerna Hora – Pec, Czech Republic where there are five ski areas and 41 km of ski slopes and tracks. The camp is for pupils from year 3 upwards!
The price of the camp includes the following:
transport to and from the Czech Republic; full board (3 meals a day); ski passes; ski/snowboard lessons conducted by experienced ski/snowboard instructors; insurance for each child; extra activities (sledding weather permitted, art workshops, etc. swimming pool admission
The cost of the ski camp is 1630 PLN per child (provided that there are at least 74 participating children. If there are only 40-50 participants, the price may go up by 20% per child.)
The price does not include: rental of skis/snowboards which amounts to 1400 Czech crowns per set.
DEADLINES:
by 26th November 1000 PLN, a signed permission slip, a completed ski rental form along with 1400 Czech crowns should be handed in to the School Office;
by 17th December 630 PLN should be paid to the School Office.
(only 32 places for students from Primary and 42 places for Secondary students are available)
Winter Camp Prerequisites
For primary children:
- ability to communicate in English (EAL beginners are not allowed)
- ability to carry equipment
- ability to dress and wash themselves
- all pupils are required to participate in all camp activities as instructed
For secondary children:
- ability to communicate in English (EAL beginners are not allowed)
- form tutors will be consulted regarding student behavior before the participant list is closed
- secondary students may not be allowed to go if their behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory
- all pupils are required to participate in all camp activities as instructed
